DogDog

Biography

The first 11 months of his life he was abused, dumped & abandoned. He's 8 now. In Oct 2018, I began training with him for him to become my Service Dog. I saw him thrive. Remi has saved my life more times than I can count. He helps me in more ways than I can express. Training actually brought out so much of his personality. So when he's not in his vest, he still feels free to be his spirited/silly self. But he still knows to do his tasks. He can do it all, & he does it with absolute pleasure. He has a favorite treat, & a special one he doesn't get as often. And his eyes light up when the treats come out. However, he's not picky at all, & he's always patient & grateful. But it's me who has to be picky with ingredients with him, because he has a number of allergies. But he's done so much for me, that it's the least I can do to ensure he has the best I can afford. To say "he's worth it", is an understatement. Remi's favorite toy is his tie-dye kitty. He loves a variety of textures/sounds. But he nurtures this one & it's pretty basic. He even uses it as a pillow. He's gentle with toys, as well. What I love when he goes to play with his toys, is that he always has a specific toy in mind. I see him digging through his toy boxes, until he finds the exact specific toy he's looking for. It's absolutely adorable. But it also just shows how smart he is, & it shows his whimsical personality. Remi is immensely expressive. He is a majestic, kind & silly spirit. He makes me incandescent & unapologetically unafraid to be myself.
